My bowels are weird. Seriously. One minute I’m
constipated, and the next minute I can’t get out of the bathroom. I’ve started
a probiotic, which will hopefully help regulate some things, but any natural
laxative remedies would be greatly appreciated.
2.
I’ve been waking up with belly / side pain each
morning. It’s miserable. I’m not sure
what’s going on, but have upped my water intake to flush out the old kidneys. The
pain usually goes away by midday.

I ate a piece of greasy Little Caesar’s pizza
the other night. And ½ a Mexican Connexion wet burrito on Saturday. And three
dark chocolate Kit Kats last night. I felt TERRIBLE for a minute, then not anymore.

I yelled at my son Jameson for wanting to go to
Burger King last night. I feel like he should also eat everything that I do,
and not WANT fast food anymore. Then I remembered that HE’S EIGHT. I felt
TERRIBLE about that for a minute as well. He doesn't like most of the things I've been cooking, but I still HOPE he's learning by my example. He's eating more fruit and veggies, and making healthier choices. I suppose a little fast food once in a while is OK (for him).
You're doing great Erin! A thought on your tummy problems , if you incorporate more greens in your diet that will really help. Another thing that helps is starting your day with a large cup of warm water with lemon and a spoonful of honey. And don't feel bad about not taking Jameson to fast food restaurants, you are being a great mom by leading by example. God bless you!
ReplyDeleteMy excuse for having cookies, brownies, and the like around or baking them is always my boys. My Weight Watcher leader gives me a hard time whenever I mention it. It's like Cathy says you are being a great example to Jameson. I wouldn't feel guilty about your burrito (of course I miss the Mexican Connection!). One thing that WW has taught me is that you cannot deprive yourself of everything or you will not be successful. I think your choice to have half instead of a whole serving is worth celebrating. Keep it up! Be proud of yourself! :) xo
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ladies - I sure do appreciate your support! It make the journey easier, knowing that my buddies are with me!
